Way Extra

Every detail of the Way implant-prosthetic range has been designed to ensure successful treatment, balancing the needs of clinicians and patient well-being. Specifically, Way implants act on two critical aspects to reduce the risk of long-term biological complications: surface treatment and the implant-abutment connection.

The innovative patented laser surface called Synthegra, present on all Way implants, serves simultaneously a dual purpose: it minimizes the risk of peri-implant infections and it promotes osteointegration. Researches demonstrate that the thousands of micro-niches on the Synthegra surface have an exceptionally smooth surface, due to the laser effect. This surface obstacles bacterial adhesion and reduces biofilm formation.

The internal conical connection of Way implants, combined with platform switching and the concave profile of prosthetic components, allows to create a seal against bacterial infiltration and to maintain healthy peri-implant tissues.
